NESLi2 for Librarians

The NESLi2 list of publishers is based on feedback from the NESLi2 community and ratified by JISC's Journals Working Group.

Publishers involved

There are a total of 17 current NESLi2 publisher agreements. The agreements for 2011 will be negotiated by JISC Collections. All NESLi2 publishers can be viewed at the Participating Publishers page.

Offer Summary documents and Licence Agreements

Every UK academic institution with a JISC Band is eligible to participate in NESLi2 offers. Full details of current offers from publishers are communicated to the NESLi2 community via the NESLi2 Reps closed discussion list, lis-nesli-reps, managed by JISC Collections, using a standard template for ease of interpretation and consistency and the final Offer Summary documents are posted on the NESLi2 Representatives Secure Area of this website, along with the finalised licence agreements and supporting documentation.

These documents are accessible by NESLi2 Representatives who receive a username/password when they join the lis-nesli-reps list. Where the pricing offer is complex, working examples of the pricing model are included. If a particular offer requires feedback, or confirmation of interest, this will be specified. Libraries are able to access the content and place their order through their gateway and supplier of choice subject to individual publisher agreements.

Reporting

JISC Collections provides a monthly report on its progress towards achieving its set goals and in addition provides other information of relevance and interest to the community. This report is e-mailed via lis-nesli-reps and is archived on the NESLi2 Representatives secure area of this site.
